It’s a good fan, but the sound level isn’t quite what I expected based on the example fans you hear in the local hardware stores. Is that Hunter’s fault? Probably not. It’s a tad louder than I expected, but it certainly doesn’t sound like an airplane readying for takeoff like the one it replaced. I would buy it again.

The fan is pretty quiet. However, the moisture removal is not good as expected. There is still some fog on the mirror.

I purchased 3 Hunter Fans at the same time, for our bathrooms.(model 82032)The First one was a bit louder than expected. I can still here the motor from across the house. The second one is beautifully quiet and efficient with it’s airflow. Now for the third fan.
The motor had a very loud and sad whining sound as if it was going to die. The RPMs were also much less than the other two fans. So I had it replaced. (Amazon’s customer service was very apologetic and responsive and had a new one at my home in 5 days) I just installed the replacement to find that the arbor, which the fan blade spins on, is slightly bent and as the fan builds speed it shakes and vibrates like crazy. Grrrrr. Now I have to send this one back too, and wait for yet another replacement fan. If I get a properly constructed and tested fan this time, I will be very happy.
Be warned, in my recent experience, the product quality seems to be very inconsistent. If you have any concerns or doubts with the product you receive, I would not hesitate to have it replaced. Hunter and Amazon will not know or address these issues unless the customer is willing to take the appropriate actions when it’s called for. Hopefully these issues will be addressed and prevented in the future.
Over all, when the fan assembly is constructed properly, I would recommend this fan for it’s increased airflow and decreased noise level, when compared to the standard bathroom fan.

We just bought a twenty year old house and its most pressing need was the master bath fan. All three bathrooms have the same old model in them, a very loud and the most basic (and cheap!) fan you could pick up at any home improvement store for twenty or so bucks. Well, the master bath one was on its last legs…and sounded like a jet engine when running, if it even ran when you flicked the switch. It would let the entire house know that the room was in use.
This fan by Hunter exceeded expectations. It is so quiet that I originally thought it wasn’t even working after installing and turning it on. I had to get nearer to hear it, and then even tested it with some paper towels (held up to the grill). In fact, the fan is so quiet that it will not “hide unpleasant noises” from the bathroom anymore, so keep that in mind. Trying not to be redundant but this is the quietest bath fan I have ever heard, yet it is strong enough that we finally don’t have a steamed window and mirror after using the shower.
Two other points to note are that the grill cover is almost 2 inches longer on all sides than the unit, so it will cover up any mistakes or possible issues nicely. Be aware though that this unit was about 4 inches “taller” (height above the ceiling) than the cheap-o model it replaced.
As one other reviewer mentioned, this model can be installed without access from above, although it may not be as secure.
I highly recommend this bath fan, even for the price.

I must admit I am not impressed with this bath toy. It’s impossible for a child to manipulate it in order to pour water in one cup from another cup. They can’t sit in a way to allow the water to flow through. It’s not what I expected but not expensive enough to return. Where have all the good bath toys gone???

I purchased these for my then 11 month old daughter, who is totally enamored with flowing water. They’re very interesting looking, but since standing bath water doesn’t really flow through them without some effort at filling and emptying them, they’re not functional for a small child (or very interesting for an older one). They don’t stack together well, and since they don’t empty easily, they leech water for hours after bath time. Also, the balls and floats inside them either don’t do anything but impede the water flow or they barely work. Not a great choice for water play.

I really wanted to love this bath. It has everything I was looking for: modern, space saving, for the sink. But it did not fit well into my sink, which I don’t think is an odd size. And my newborn was not stable in it and even holding her up with one hand while I washed her felt unsteady. I think the concept is great but it just didn’t work for us. I see that people like it so much and I can’t fully understand why it didn’t work for me.

I love this! Our baby is comfortable and relaxed in this tub and it is eoooo easy to use and store. Great product and well worth the price. I would recommend this to any new parent.

Let me just say, we are first time parents, so I have nothing to compare this to.
But I know it was a big waste of money.
At three weeks when my son’s cord fell off he got his first bath and boy was it stressful and awkward! This thing barely fit in my bathroom sink, and my faucet was inches away from him. It also only holds about a cup and a half of water in it, so I was basically giving him a sponge bath. We had to fill water pitchers in the tub to use as rinse water. He hated all of this so much that I cried.
The next time I tried using it in my larger kitchen sink, and as others described, the sink was too big and the shape didn’t hold/magnets came apart. My 60 year old mother exclaimed, “this sucks!” and removed the puj, put a towel in the sink, and held him while I washed.
Now my babe is three months and for the past two months he gets two baths a week with his dad. Dad holds him while being in the tub, and I wash him from an outside of the tub kneeling position. Babe loves this and smiles a whole bunch! In another month the babe will be able to sit up on his own, so no baby tub needed.
Final thoughts: its not really a bath if you are just sitting in a cup of water around your bum, that is just poop soup. This thing is a great concept, but poorly executes.

i saw this advertised in a baby magazine when i was pregnant and thought it would be great for my baby. i LOVE this!! It is so soft and my baby fits in it perfectly. At first I was very tentative and I held my baby tightly while bathing her, but now that she is older I can let go and she stays perfectly put. It is a great buy. I wish their magnets were stronger as often she kicks the flaps apart. But otherwise it is fantastic. Well worth the money.

I loved this tub and I am so sad my baby outgrew it. She loves it too and wouldn’t complain if I kept stuffing her in it but, at 5 months, 26in, and 14lbs, she’s really too big for it. I don’t know what kind of sinks the negative reviewers had but it fits my sink (molded shell sink) and a hotel sink (undermount sink) fine. It does collapse in my kitchen sink but it’s not really meant for square sinks. Here’s my pro’s and con’s:
Pros:
- very comfortable for baby
- constantly drains so water stays fresh and baby gets rinsed easily
- takes up no space (I hung it on the back of the bathroom door)
- cradles baby securely so parent’s hands are free
- no bending!! baby is right there with you
- baby can look in mirror while being bathed my daughter loved this
- baby has a blast playing with the water coming out of the faucet
Cons:
- You’ll be lucky if you can push using this to 5 months. Most babies will probably outgrow it by 3 – 4 months
- expensive, it’s a great idea but that’s what you’re paying for, it probably cost them about $0.20 to make
- It does mark up easy and after 5 months of use it definitely looks used, no passing this on to someone else.
To me it was worth the money because it made bathing my newborn so easy I couldn’t imagine anything else. I tried those plastic tubs with the mesh and my daughter just wasn’t comfortable in them and they are so huge to store. I also tried the little bath seats and those stink because she wasn’t in the water having fun. With the puj she could be crying like crazy and if I put her in the bathroom she would be instantly happy.

I love this mattress. I have a Nadia 3 in 1 crib and this mattress fits great. I love that it has square corners to get a tighter fit in my crib. The outside is vinyl looking (waterproof looking) but has ringed holes around it. IT IS SO LIGHTWEIGHT. I could chuck this mattress across the room probably because it is so light weight. It makes it really easy to change the sheets. This mattress is also firm, which I made an issue of finding a mattress that had good reviews of this (and I researched quite a bit). I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Our baby has been sleeping on this mattress for 3 months. I have probably changed the sheet on the mattress about 10 times, and already the mattress is coming apart at the seams in 2 places. Thankfully it is covered by a 10-year warranty and Amazon is quick with a replacement, however I would not expect a baby mattress to come apart at the seams so quickly. I am hoping the replacement fares better.
I purchased this mattress because it was rated highly for being firm. I can say that our baby does sleep soundly on it and it fits snugly in the crib. It is also lightweight. Overall I have been satisfied with it but am a little disappointed in the quality.

After researching on mattresses for our upcoming baby we settled on the Colgate Classica I foam crib mattress. We bought it for several reasons the good reviews and the light weight. We were much concerend on quality rather than other things and now am fully satisfied with its size, quality ,and weight

we’ve been using this mattress with a DaVinci Kalani crib for over 2 months now. So far i like it. It fit very snugly in the crib even at the edges. The mattress is quite firm as we wanted it. The surface though, probably because it is water resistant, is slippery, so when we put a sheet on top of the mattress, unless the sheet is fit very tightly it gets a bit slippery under our baby’s feet. would have been good if the surface had more friction.

After researching and researching mattresses for our upcoming baby we settled on the Colgate Classica I foam crib mattress. We bought it for several reasons the good reviews and the light weight. My wife has a sensitive back, so weight is a legitimate concern. When we received the mattress we were happy with the quality, fit and light weight. Then along comes our “little Goo” baby…
Our little one slept in the crib from day one. Over time however, we started to notice a trend that our baby would sleep better and longer when put on our bed. Keep in mind, sleeping on our bed happened on a very infrequent basis. We are now at 5 months closing in on 6 and we just went out and bought a different mattress. Our little guy simply did not sleep soundly on the colgate mattress. Taking the mattress out of the crib I put all of my body weight on it and it barely gave way for me and I weight over 160 lbs more than my baby. There is no way this mattress could provided any cushion for a baby. In fact, our baby bounced its face of the mattress once and it made it cry! That is why I jokingly stated it’s the closest thing to wood on the market. Here are the other things we noticed due to the mattress being so hard our “little Goo” roles all over the place in the crib. This has forced us to put our bumpers back in the crib (a safety risk), because rolling into the wooden bars of the crib does not feel good. The other issue is our little one rolling off it’s side when trying to sleep and thus causing “Goo” to wake up. I just can’t stress that the firmness of this mattress is way beyond what is needed or necessary for an infant.
Now, with our new mattress, our little one is sleeping instead of rolling around, getting woken up or injured hitting the crib bars. Plus, we should be able to remove the bumpers … a safety concern for us. Both my Wife and I work in the medical field and we are both aware of SIDS and the recommended precautions. However, we are also aware that a good nights sleep is very important to our babies health and growth. Based on our experience we would not recommend this mattress and feel there are better options out there that can address SIDS yet provide your baby with a comfortable sleep surface.
