Boon Catch Bowl – Toddler Bowl with Spill Catcher, Blue/Greeen
The Catch Bowl is the perfect way to help control little spills. The built-in food catcher extends toward the child, funneling runaway food back into the bowl. To help avoid bigger spills, a suction cup bottom keeps the Catch Bowl firmly in place.

 “Best Bowl for Toddler” 2010-10-07

This bowl stays put no matter how my grandson tries to get it off, great suction cup holder! Quality as all Boon products!

 “No Suction” 2010-09-18

Bowl is good as a regular bowl but I had purchased it b/c of the bottom suction feature so my new self-feeder wouldn’t inadvertently knock over his food when trying to pick it up. The bowl has little to no suction and was airborne in no time – along with it’s contents. Save your $$$, keep looking!

 “Stains easily disappointing” 2010-09-03

WIthin only two uses this formerly lovely looking piece of table ware for my little one started to look very grotty. The type of plastic used stains really easily such that no amount of scrubbing has managed to get the tomatoe pasta sauce stain from the bowl. lt also doesn’t stick to wooden table tops easily so if your high chair is plastic you’re okay.

“Good solution but spill catcher works best to one side” 2010-08-23
By Anne V.
I found that the spill catcher got in the way of my toddler’s eating. She often would try to move it out of her way. I also thought that too much food was landing on the table after each scoop (i wish the bowl had an all-around apron.

Anyway, the best solution for us was to place the spill catcher on the left side while she used her right hand to eat. We also use a full body bib to prevent any little spills on her clothing. This worked out great for us. I’m very happy with this purchase. I’d also like to recommend the Silikids Siliskin Glass Set, Colors May Vary, 6 Ounce, Set of 4 (if you dare to give up the sippy cup) and Boon ModWare – Toddler Utensils – Orange/White. All great products for toddlers learning to self-feed.

 “Great Design” 2010-08-06

I really like the innovative design of this bowl. The extended lip of the bowl helps catch messy foods like oatmeal and yogurt. “Helps” is the key word here. It helps, but unfortunately still lets a significant amount of food end up in my 18 month old’s lap. I think it’s a great concept that could be perfect if the lip was extended another 3-4 inches.

Others have complained about the quality of the suction cup. I haven’t had any issues with this, however, I don’t put mine in the dishwasher. I know, washing by hand can be a hassle, but I just throw it in the sink as soon as he is done eating and run some water in it to wash later if I can’t do it right away. I feel it’s worth it to hand wash since experience has taught me that anything with a suction cup will get warped by the dishwasher, even if it says it is dishwasher safe.

I’ve tried many baby bowls, and the Boon Catch Bowl is my favorite. I would definitely recommend.

“Perfect for Toddlers who Like to tip bowls” 2010-07-21
By Katy E. (So. Cal, USA)
I love this Product. I have a “nearly” two year old who loves to dump his bowls. I have tried several other products as this one is a bit pricey, however, I ended up buying more as they are the only one’s my son can not manage to move from the table. I love that it stay’s put when he is eating things like beans that would typically tip other bowls. the only negative I have to say the “spill Catcher” component is pretty useless unless they are still in a high chair where they would be close enough to it, but for me it was not important hence my high rating…
