 “Great Product, Great Price” 2010-09-04
By Brooklyn Bargain Hunter (Brooklyn, NY)
I love gDiapers. I have been using them since my baby was born, first the tiny gpants, then the small size gpants. I’ve never had any blowouts with these, and these are really convenient for trips out of the house. My baby has pretty chunky legs, so I think that may be why they fit so well. I like having the option of using the disposable liners or gcloth. I’m transitioning my baby to the medium size gpants at the moment, which also fit great. Definitely give these diapers a try!

 “gDiapers Flushable Inserts-great!” 2010-08-27

Love these. I use them in gDiapers & other cloth, even over cloth inserts to extend the time between changes (when necessary, like bedtime, etc.) Stock up when you see a good price!

You just gotta love these diapers. Easy to flush or toss and great for the environment too. I don’t have any issues with the diapers and they have yet to contribute to/cause diaper rash problems with my little one.

 “Green Combo” 2010-06-01
By C. OBrien
When I was pregnant and trying to decide what to get in terms of cloth diapers, I saw so many mixed reviews on each brand. So, I decided to get a little of each and see what we liked best once our little one arrived. We’ve actually arrived at our own combination: we use the cloth fuzzibunz and place a gdiaper insert on top of it. The fuzzibunz are just so much softer than the gdiaper exterior, and this way we have double protection all the time! The gdiaper inserts hold tons, so on a typical change we can just replace that part and reuse the fuzzibunz.

 “gdiapers inserts” 2010-09-05
By Calicat
Love these diapers. Made the switch from disposables to gdiapers. Much easier on my daughter’s bottom.

 “Mom Tested, Baby Approved” 2010-08-29
By New Mama Shannon (Portlandia, Oregon)
We started our little one on Gdiapers because we wanted less environmental waste – takes 500 years for a disposable diaper to break down while this only takes 150 days – and something that was more natural.

Pricing: With Amazon’s subscribe and save, 15% off however, they were running a promo with 30% off at which time I bulked up. I purchased three cases at a time very quickly and have about a 8 month stock pile saved up. At 30% off it is about the same cost of a disposable diaper. Also, because the inserts are one size (M/L 13-36 lbs) you can stock up without worrying that your little one will out grow them like disposable diapers.

Size: We started out our little one on the medium Gs at 11.5 lbs. They are recommended to start at 13 lbs, however we had no problems starting earlier. We didn’t invest in the small Gs because I knew she would grow out of them quickly so we used disposables (7th generation) for about 2 months. Yes she looked like she was wearing a ginormous diaper but that faded quickly as she grew quickly. Also, I only purchased 4 medium diapers and 4 large diapers and additional 12 plastic liners – Amazon doesn’t sell the liners but you can and should buy them directly from the G diaper website. This has proven a sufficient amount.

Wash: Poop should not get on the G cloth part. If it is, you don’t have the diaper on right. I didn’t watch the videos but rather used common sense and made sure that the inner liner was very snug against her. We only had one blow out so far. I have thrown the inner plastic liner and cloth part in the washer and had no problems. Just make sure you hang dry so that they don’t wear out quickly. You don’t need to wash the cloth part after every changing, only if it gets poop or pee on it. This prevents the velcro from wearing out quickly. Inner plastic liners may need to be changed and washed more often.

Disposal: We don’t compost the diapers because maintaining our little one and working full time has proven enough. So I don’t know much about the composty-ness of the G. We did purchase a Diaper Dekor (a diaper pail) and it does have plastic biodegradble bag. Also available through Amazon. So the bag and the diapers should break down rather quickly.

Diaper Rash: Our little one has had no diaper rash from these diapers. The diapers don’t have harsh chemicals like other diapers.

Danger: I’m a mom who lives on the edge – i.e. doesn’t put anything under baby when changing her and the G diaper has saved me on occasion. The inner liner will hold pee so I can clean up the mess quickly without pee going everywhere. Also, since my baby still is small, I put the diaper on backwards. The tabs face me rather than put behind her, this just makes changes easier.

Choice: We wanted our baby to have minimal impact on the environment so invested in these diapers. We also invest in her food and only buy organic formula. We purchased many other baby products second hand, swing $10, stroller $3, bassinet $10, etc. (yes good quality and clean) So it can be done on a budget and you don’t need to make gobs of money to afford these diapers. These diapers are great, easy to use and minimally impact the environment.

 “The best diaper” 2010-08-20
By K. Green (United States)
gDiapers are the best. They take a bit of getting used to, but after a day are soooo easy to use. No plastic means better for the environment too! Easy to dispose of with no guilt, flush, toss or compost. My daughter has had no diaper rash or issues at all with this diaper.

I would never use another brand of diaper.

 “Awesome Product” 2010-08-19
By B. Weaver (California)
I love gDiapers, I primarily use cloth in them but I love that I have the option of using a biodegradable disposable insert. I love that I don’t feel bad about it & it’s great because I can switch to these super easy if we ever have diaper rash. We haven’t had diaper rash, we have had heat rash in the diaper area & used the disposables while that cleared up.

I also use the small disposable inserts in my swim diapers (the m/l are too big) so I don’t have to put the babies in a regular diaper on the way to the pool, this makes it super convenient. My husband took the babies into the pool with the insert still in and we had no problems.

 “LOVE THEM!!!” 2010-08-03
By Cheyanne
I Love gDiapers, especially the “Flushies”! I have 4 children, 2 of them under the age of 2, so I needed something quick & easy when I go to change them. Not to mention the savings compared to disposables. They don’t bunch. They’re not bulky like some other brands can be. They’re easy to use. Best of all, they are eco-friendly! I reccomend them to anyone who is thinking of using a reuseable cloth diaper system but doesn’t want the extra laundry. Thank you gDiapers!
